Sometimes she needs you to take her where she is afraid to go. She may kick and scream and cry and tell you she doesn’t need it. But she will thank you for it, in the end. This is one of the many reasons she needs you to learn her inside and out. Every bit of her. You must bring out the very best in her, and sometimes that means you must strip away the negativity.

Don’t confuse what I’m saying. I’m not saying for you to go past agreed upon limits. You must respect the hard limits. That should be immediately obvious and implied.

If you need to put them over your knee or stand them in the corner, so if. Not because you want to, but because it is what they need. Sometimes she cannot unload the burdens of the world without your help. You must put your own thoughts to the side; you cannot let the minor discomfort of making her cry prevent you from her receiving much needed catharsis.

Do it. Do it for her. Do it for the both of you.
